Security Officer
Conduct regular reviews and assessments of Minimum Operating Standards of Security and Minimum Operating Residential Safety and Security implementation and compliance in the UNICEF office in New Delhi. In conjunction with Department for Security and Safety, make recommendations on which measures need to be taken to ensure full Minimum Operating Standards of Security and Minimum Operating Residential Safety and Security compliance.
Conduct regular reviews and assessments of Minimum Operating Standards of Security (MOSS) and Minimum Operating Residential Safety and Security (MORSS) implementation and compliance of all UNICEF state offices, in the country. In conjunction with DSS, make recommendations on which measures need to be taken to ensure full MOSS and MORSS compliance. Provide advice on security and staff security issues to UNICEF management, including Chiefs of Field Offices.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience and competencies required:
- University degree in business administration, political science or related field. Security Training is an essential asset.
- At least four years of relevant experience in security, preferably in the military or police context or related field of work. Experience in a UN, International NGO or diplomatic mission related environment is an asset. Knowledge of the political and security situation in the local area is desirable.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of the local languages at the duty station is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent data collection, analytical and writing skills (in English language)
- Ability to cope effectively with administrative issues.
- Ability to work under stress, and within strict deadlines.
- Ability to learn and organise relevant capacity building of others if required.
- Planning and monitoring skills.
- Proven ability to plan and organize work independently.
- Ability to make timely and quality judgments and decisions or recommendations to the supervisor.

Administrative Specialist
Responsible for negotiating and administering all premises at New Delhi and 13 field offices, including coordination with Headquarters for signing of office leases, facilitating MOSS compliance, Government Ministries and Departments and other local bodies and authorities.
Management of Protocol related functions including liaison with concerned Ministries and embassies ensuring formalities for settling down of IPOs at New Delhi and Field offices are fully met.
Master’s degree in business management, administration or any other relevant field of discipline.
2. Five years of experience in office management and administration at managerial level in a large sized organization.
